The title sums it up. We have 2 heads but only one has purytec. Rightly or wrongly we find that although we use it for the purpose it was intended for, it gives a chemical kind of smell. It always has. We contacted the company, if I remember right, who felt it was nothing to do with their product. Well the head without it does not smell. We still buy it and use since it is installed but have declined to put it in the other head. Would love to hear from others! Gives a nice look in the bowl - froth!
