Behold, the MIGHTY SeaQureShackle! We recently sent two of our heavy-duty screw safety pin mooring bow shackles off to a third-party inspection firm for routine load testing. This was carried out as part of our quality assurance programme - the proactive quality monitoring and testing of our mooring hardware and components.
According to their Inspection Supervisor, the results were astounding. In both cases, the tests had to be stopped as they were causing significant strain and damage to their testing equipment!
Incredible results with both the shackles having exceeded a safety factor of 6:1. A huge testimony to the strength and quality of our mooring hardware.
