I've purchased this PLB because it was the smallest one available in the market and it was also the one with the longest lifetime battery (7 years and a few months which allows me to used for 7 summer seasons). I had seen in in pictures and youtube reviews but I was extremely impressed when I had it in my hand. It is very very compact and light in weight. It comes with a floating pouch and a support so that you can mount it almost anywhere. It also comes with the register instructions which is very simple to do, it takes less than 5 minutes and it is an online procedure. I hope I never need to use it but I rest assured that it is very simple to activate. It can be activated single handed in case of injury. It also comes with a useful test button and a strobe light, which may help to locate you during night time or storm. I definitely recommend this to all sailors (even more if you sale alone), but also for hunters campers and hikers and it could be extremely useful in case of emergency in a remote area with no cellphone network coverage. The staff was very helpful, pleasant and fast in clarifying my doubts about this PLB. The article arrived fast and sound to Spain. The price was very competitive, and not so high if you split it in 7 years of life time. Its a good security upgrade and in my opinion, a must have. I feel very glad that I've purchased it.

Perfect for kayaking, I keep it in my PFD pocket. It's so small but yet still a fully functioning PLB with a 7 year battery. Everyone hopes never to use this. I did get myself in a spot of bother recently but I managed to get myself out of it, however the situation was bad enough that my mind wondered towards what safety gear I had and what I would use IF things got much worse. Knowing you have a PLB with you along with a mobile & VHF is a relief when things go wrong, money worth spending.
