But how can a product be used to clean oil be biodegradable?? An obvious question:
- Firstly, as it cleans the oil and hydrocarbon pollutants, it does not add to the overall pollutant as a solvent would.
- Secondly if left long enough it would eventually effectively breakdown the hydrocarbons with the specially chosen enzymes that are known to eat hydrocarbon.
