I bought this pump to replace an identical unit which had begun to leak from between the two halves of the pump casing. I decided to replace like with like for simplicity, and to repair the original to be kept as a spare.
Good points:
Easily removed water connections aid installation and winterising.
Acoustic damping mounting feet reduce noise transmission to the hull.
Relatively low cost.
3-year warranty.
Not-so-good points:
Pump body is plastic, which will creep and distort over time, held together with self-tapping screws.
Internal seal between body halves is not substantial enough for long life, and is not replaceable as a spare.
