The optimal treatment for the removal of rust from all metal constructions, Fertan Rust Converter destroys rust and protects steel.

It is a complex, patented tannic acid product, offering exceptional protection against rust. It is not toxic and is environmentally friendly.

Fertan converts loose rust to powder which can be washed off, leaving a stable and inert surface. Rust is eliminated and new formation prevented. It has an unlimited shelf life.

  1. Brush off any loose rust and dirt and remove any oil or silicon.
  2. Apply Fertan with a brush, roller or spray.
  3. Leave for 24 hours or up to 48 hours in low temperatures.
  4. Rinse with water, dry and paint.

Product is first class and does what it says on the tin
I am restoring an elderly landrover and wanted a spray on liquid which would derust/create a stable substrate for rustproof painting and could be left in place for wax treatment.
I haven't started on the main chassis / body support panels but I have tested the treatment on section already removed and found it produced good results - works best in a moist environment.

Best of the bunch
Having used and trialled several of these type of rust converters found Fertan to be the best of the bunch.
