Information about Gael Force Marine

Gael Force Marine is a supplier of Marine Equipment.  www.gaelforcemarine.co.uk is a website operated by Gael Force Marine Equipment Ltd. (us). We are registered in United Kingdom under company number SC101936 with our registered office address at 136 Anderson Street, South Kessock, Inverness, IV3 8DH, United Kingdom. Our trading address for this website is 136 Anderson Street, South Kessock, Inverness, IV3 8DH, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is 801768825.

Payment of Orders

When you place your order with us, RealEx Payments, our payment partner, will authorise your card for transactions. This means a request will be sent to your bank to debit the total order value immediately. Transactions are handled on our behalf by RealEx Payments.  All orders are paid for in GB Pound Sterling (£).  If you intend to pay with a non-UK based credit/debit card you accept that payment may fluctuate depending on exchange rates between time of ordering and charging of credit/debit card.

This applies to orders placed on our website only.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta, and UK Maestro.

We also accept PayPal and AmazonPay for payments.  If you choose to pay via PayPal or AmazonPay, we will only dispatch goods once full payment has been cleared via PayPal or AmazonPay.

The taking of payment at the point of order does not indicate acceptance of your order. Acceptance will occur when we send you a dispatch of goods confirmation e-mail (orders are manually processed Mon-Fri).

Our Stock

The Gael Force Marine website shows product stock indicators. When you, the customer, place your order you do so in acceptance that goods may not be in stock at the time of ordering.  We have included this term in the case of stock discrepancy.  Any goods out of stock will be notified within 48 working hours of the order being placed (exceptions may occur over the weekend as orders are manually processed Mon-Fri). Standard delivery time for out of stock goods is within 14 days. If further delays are expected we will contact you with an estimated delivery date.

We are a multi-store retailer, however, our live product stock indicators are not indicative of our stock situation across various our locations. Therefore, to avoid disappointment, we advise customers travelling to our stores to call ahead to check our stock situation at specific stores.

Pricing

At Gael Force, we continually check and compare our prices and endeavour to offer you the best value.  However, due to a number of factors such as; currency, raw material and manufacturing costs which can vary beyond our control, prices can alter and therefore we reserve the right to change our online prices without prior notice.  We kindly ask that customers have patience and understanding when this is the case.

Prices include VAT (unless otherwise stated) but do not include delivery charges; delivery costs are added to your order at the checkout.

If you are ordering from and are resident outside the E.U, VAT will be deducted from your order at the checkout.

On the Gael Force Marine website, we have a 'Euro Pricing' facility. The Euro prices that you see on every product on our website should be used as a guide price only - all orders are paid for in GB Pound Sterling only. By submitting your order to Gael Force Marine you recognise that the Euro price is a guide price only.

Confirmation and Acceptance of your Order

When we receive your order we will send you an e-mail acknowledgement. This is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you confirmation of goods dispatched via e-mail. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

While your credit card may be debited before the contract is formed, if we do not accept your order, a refund will be made immediately after the rejection of the order.

Delivery

Please note all parcels are sent by courier on a ‘signed for’ service. No parcels will be left at an address without a signature. In the event that a 'Sorry you were out...' card is left at your address you should contact the courier company responsible for delivering your goods first.  We do not accept responsibility for undelivered goods if a person is not available to sign for goods being delivered to an address.

For standard delivery, we offer a 3 to 5 working day service.  Please allow for the 5 working days to elapse before contacting us in the unlikely event that you experience a delay in delivery.  You can also track your delivery with the courier through the tracking number which is sent along with the dispatch email.

Please click here to see our dedicated Delivery page for all other details.  Details on the Delivery Page are included in our Terms and Conditions.

Returns Policy

We understand and appreciate that not all customers intend to use their purchases immediately and require time to get down to their boat to check the suitability of a product.  With this in mind we are pleased to offer customers a generous 30 day returns policy with the following terms;

Goods may be returned for full refund within 30 days of receipt without query. We cannot, however, refund or exchange damaged goods, non-stock items or goods which have been custom made to order such as rigging, cut lengths of rope, chain & wire. We ask customers to take extra good care when returning goods and, where possible, return original packaging. In order for your return to be processed swiftly, it must contain a Returns Form. In such an event you shall return to us at your cost the Goods, properly packed to ensure safe delivery, to our address as set out below.

1. You can find your Returns Form displayed on the reverse of the Delivery Note with the original order. You can also download a PDF copy of the form by clicking here.

2. You should then contact our Sales Department on 01463 229 400 or by e-mailing sales@gaelforcegroup.com to request a Returns Code.

3. The Returns Code should then be documented on the form along with your reason for return.

4. The Returns Form should be returned along with the goods.

We strongly recommend that when returning goods that you use a carrier that offers a "signed for" service as the goods remain the responsibility of the customer until received at our address below.
