Lifecord is a kill cord providing the certainty and reliability of a tethered connection between a boat’s engine ignition kill switch and pilot, ensuring the vessel’s engine stops should the pilot be inadvertently thrown from the helm.

Unlike the typical passive kill cords, Lifecord is a 'smart' kill cord that incorporates detection technology designed to trigger an audible and visual warning alarm should Lifecord be connected to the boat’s kill switch but not the pilot, similar to the seatbelt warning in your car.

Lifecord simply replaces the boat/engine’s existing kill cord. It is supplied with 7 clip heads contained within the packaging, ensuring it fits virtually every engine/boat type fitted with an existing kill switch. No adaption or alteration to the vessel itself is required to use Lifecord.

The clip heads supplied are designed to fit with the following engine manufacturers:

• Honda (lifting kill switch type).
• Mercury / Mariner (toggle kill switch type).
• Mercury / Mariner / Tohatsu (lifting kill switch type).
• OMC Evinrude (compression kill switch type).
