I searched the internet and these are definitely the best quality and also price I could find. I did consider metal but rowlocks invariably get hit or caught by something and in theory the nylon which in its self is strong should break before the side of my 'Classic 1970' fiberglass 'Bonwitco With 200' 10 foot Dingy.
I have just received my order of 6 IVORY NYLON SIDE SOCKETS with 6 matching Rowlocks. I placed the order by phone so that it was sent via Royal Mail and to find out how many pairs would fit in a A4 jiffy bag... Which is 5 sets (10 rowlocks and 10 side sockets) and they arrived in perfect condition. These are good quality and design, the ivory looks better than white.

Does what it says on the listing. Shame I did not read the listing properly. So I have had to order some matching sockets.
Seems like a sturdy product.
These rowlocks fit snugly, turn smoothly and are strong enough for even quite vigorous rowing.
