Heavy duty professional range of side entry creels with multi-purpose catching ability. In side entry format these lobster creels / crab creels feature Gael Force's renowned soft nylon eye. The eye design on the creel allows the largest of Lobster and Crab to enter the creel, yet because of nylon's sinking properties the eye 'closes' down behind the catch. Creel Bait bags are fitted to order as is roping and rubbering for additional protection.
For professional use 10mm steel Creel is normally specified. For lighter duty use the complete range is also available in 8mm steel.
Suitable for commercial fishing of Crab and Lobster yet will also hold by catch of Velvet Crab - truly a multi-purpose fishing creel. |
Parlour Creels

A range of top entry Parlour Creels and double side entry Parlour Creels in 8mm and 10mm steel. Featuring the robust and unique Gael Force Creel manufacturing technique, single netted with 70mm braided netting. Roping and rubbering to the highest standard of workmanship to the specification required.
Top entry Parlour Creels can be fitted with 8" or 10" bucket entrances. The double eye Parlour Creels are fitted with the Gael Force high holding power soft nylon eye.
Suitable for Lobster, Crab and Velvet Crab fishing, particularly when gear has to lie several days. |
Prawn Creels |

Gael Force Marine's long established and highly successful range of Prawn (Norwegian Lobster) Creels consistently out-fish inferior copies. Covered in high quality light weight nylon netting or heavy duty polyethylene netting. Eyes however are always fitted using 12z nylon netting fitted to 80mm rings for best fishing ability. The frame design uses a minimum amount of welded joints, and relies on the steel for its structural strength. For specialised markets we also manufacture square type Prawn Creels in 6mm and 8mm steel.
Suitable for Prawn fishing on soft seabeds, in depths up to 300 metres. |
