PAYMENT OF ORDERS

Full payment for all orders will be taken when the order is placed. Transactions are handled on our behalf by SECpay. Any goods out of stock will be notified within 48hrs of the order being placed. Standard delivery time for out of stock goods is within 14 days. If further delays are expected we will contact you with an estimated delivery date.

PRICING AND ORDER CONFIRMATION

At Gael Force we continually check and compare our prices and endeavour to offer you the best value. All prices are correct at the time of 2010 Catalogue printing (December 2009) and are generally valid for 2010. However due to a number of factors such as; currency, raw material and manufacturing costs which can vary beyond our control, prices can alter and therefore we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. We kindly ask that customers have patience and understanding when this becomes the case.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

RETURNS POLICY

Goods may be returned for full credit (excluding carriage) within 14 days of receipt without query. We cannot, however, refund or exchange damaged goods, books, charts, software, videos, non-stock items or goods which have been made to order such as rigging, cut lengths of rope, chain & wire. Goods should be returned as new and in their original packing and MUST contain a Returns Form, included with your order, stating the reason for your return and instructions for us to follow. (Please note, if goods are returned without paperwork no credit can be raised). We strongly recommend that when returning goods that you use a carrier that offers a "signed for" service as the goods remain the responsibility of the customer until received at our address below.

Dispatching your goods

When you place your order with Gael Force Marine this will be taken care of by a member of our sales team. For items in stock, we aim to dispatch within 1 working of your order being placed. In the case of products being out of stock, a member of our sales team will contact you within 1 working day to inform you. Generally, for most out of stock products we will attempt to dispatch goods as soon as possible giving you the best time estimate possible. At busier periods of the year, orders may take longer to dispatch however we will always endeavour to send your order in a timely manner.

Standard Delivery
- For orders to leave on the same day as ordering you must place your order before 12pm that day. This is to allow our warehouse operatives time to deal with your order for courier collection. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that orders will be dispatched same day during busy periods, e.g Fitting Out time, Christmas Season.

- We only dispatch orders on weekdays - items are not dispatched on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, orders placed after 12pm on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday. Please bear this in mind if you require your order quickly.

Express delivery
- Express Delivery for UK mainland normally takes 1-2 working days from date of dispatch. If you require express delivery then your order must be placed before 12pm for dispatch to take place the same day.

- Once goods leave our premises we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time and date, however we will do our utmost to get the goods to you on time. The vast majority of our orders are sent with courier, except in cases of very small items under £25 in value which are sometimes sent with Royal Mail.

- Please note all parcels are sent by courier on a ‘signed for’ service. No parcels will be left at an address without a signature.

- Due to set rules and regulations which affect the transportation of hazardous items within the UK such goods are subject to additional charges. Hazardous goods cannot be sent on an Express Delivery. Please see Hazardous Goods section below for further details.

Delivery of Hazardous Goods

Due to set rules and regulations which affect the transportation of hazardous items within the UK, such goods are subject to additional charges. Hazardous goods cannot be sent on an Express Delivery.

The following items are classified as Hazardous goods and cannot be dispatched to areas outside Mainland UK.

- Liferafts (contains compressed gas canister)

- Gas Foghorns

- Flares and Pyrotechnics

Fire Extinguishers

- Hazardous liquids including Paint, Varnish, and Flammable/Harmful Liquids.

- Batteries

- Engine Oils

- Lifejackets cannot be dispatched outside the UK (compressed gas bottle). All lifejacket orders will be sent by road on a Standard Delivery.
