Quick drying, effective anti-corrosive and preservative primer suitable for all substrates above and below the waterline. Also, suitable as a primer or barrier coat when applying antifouling on new substrates or as a conversion coat over unknown antifoulings.
Directions for use: Stir well before use. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease and salt. Abrade any new bare GRP with 180-220 grit, removing any residual hull release agent, ensure steel is free of rust (grit blast where possible), wood is dry and sound and ferrocement, lead and aluminium are free of corrosive deposits and lightly abraded. Previously antifouled surfaces in good condition: remove any loose material and lightly abrade using plenty of fresh water. Apply 1 or 2 coats by roller, brush or spray allowing around 3-6 hours between coats depending on temperature. If filler is necessary, apply 1 coat of primer first.
