Seasteel offers up to 40% higher breaking strain than standard polypropylene ropes and up to 70% higher breaking strain than polyethylene, with very high abrasion resistance assuring long life. This means its performance is almost equal to that of comparable nylon ropes, especially when wet, at roughly one third of the price. The rope is also completely silent when running over blocks. A rope with medium-firm lay, the fact that Seasteel is easy to splice only adds to its already substantial attractions. Manufactured in 3 and 4 strand floating and 3 strand leaded construction.
Creeling and potting, trawling, netting, industrial slings, moorings, fish farming, netmaking, cable drawing.
